Some family members believe Thomas and John are the sons of Thomas and Joan (Searle) Morrell, who had three sons John, Caleb, and Thomas in England. Thomas Sr. died c. 1638 and Joan remarried to William Warner. Joan, William, and the three sons came to New England c. 1640. She died in Springfield, Massachusetts. I have not yet found any documents to support this.

John Morrell recieved a lot in Gravesend on Long Island in 1645.
