Bradbury Morrill enlisted as 2nd Lieutenant on 14 August 1862 at the age of 33, serving in Company D, 12th Infantry Regiment New Hampshire. He was promoted to Full 1st Lieutenant. He was discharged on 11 November 1863. [4]
