There is some confusion in Morrill Kindred between this Enoch Morrill and the one born in 1764, the son of Daniel and Anna (Fitts) Morrill. The tombstone of the later Enoch is found in Meriden New Hampshire next to Eunice, his wife, aged 78 years. Thus the husband of Eunice was born in 1764 and not 25 years earlier as shown in Morrill Kindred. The two Enoch Morrills appear to have been swapped and are now, hopefully, in their proper place. [6] Enoch Morrill served as a private in the 9th Regimental Infantry for Massachusetts. His heirs were Polly, Betsey, Ruth, Jane, Susan, Harriet, and Clarissa Morrill. [7] CHILDREN
