George Morrill enlisted as a Private on 4 June 1861 at the age of 23 in Company E, 3rd Infantry Regiment Maine. He received a disability discharge on 14 November 1862. He then reenlisted as a Corporal on 3 December 1863 at the age of 26 in Company C, 2nd Cavalry Regiment Maine, and mustered out on 6 December 1865. [6] CHILDREN
