Jacob Morrill was born and married in Salisbury, Massachusetts. He probably moved to Kingston NH about 1716 after his second daughter was born.

Jaob Morrill was the third settler of Salisbury, N.H. He is found there as early as 1752, when it was called Stevenstown. Jacob originally owned 60 acres there, selling 20 of it in 1763 to Eliphalet Gale. Jacob was a taxpayor in Salisbury, New Hampshire, in 1775. [4]
