John C. Morrill was a carpenter in Pittsfield, New Hampshire. John C. Morrill enlisted on December 4, 1861 in Company G, Eighth Regiment, New Hampshire Volunteers as a Sergeant. He was discharged due to disability July 5, 1862. [9]
