Samuel L. Morrill was a cordwainer (or leather worker) in Salisbury, Massachusetts. Samuel Morrill of Salisbury enlisted as a Private on 1 September 1862 at the age of 38 in Company C, 48th Infantry Regiment Massachusetts. He mustered out on 3 September 1863. [3] CHILDREN
