Here are some things to think about before posting your personal information on the web. For these reasons, I will not knowingly post information on living individuals.

• If someone knows your date-of-birth and place-of-birth, they may be able to obtain a copy of your birth certificate. That in turn can be used to apply for a drivers licence or passport in your name.
• If someone knows your social security number and birth date, they may be able to find employment and leave you to pay the income tax.
• If someone knows your birth date and your mother's maiden name, they may be able to call up your bank or broker and transfer all your money to the account of their choice.
